Come home to your body. Move in the way your whole self has been longing for.
Intuitive Dance is an open, welcoming space where you can explore movement without judgement, choreography, or expectation. This is an opportunity to listen deeply to your body’s cues and allow movement to unfold in whatever way feels right for you.
This gathering supports people of all backgrounds and abilities — no dance experience needed. You are invited exactly as you are.
Your facilitators for the event are: Vicki & Paula.
What to Expect:
🔹 Opening Circle
We begin by arriving together in community. A short guided practice helps you soften into your body, settle your mind, and create a sense of shared presence.
🔹 Intuitive Movement Journey
The music guides you through waves of energy — spacious, gentle, uplifting, and expressive. You choose how you move.
There is no right or wrong here; only your own inner rhythm.
Research into embodied movement practices shows that free, self-led movement can support emotional release, enhance mood, and increase a sense of connection to self and others. Many participants describe feeling lighter, clearer, and more spacious afterwards.
🔹 Closing Circle
We finish with time to reflect, acknowledge what emerged, and honour your experience before gently transitioning back into the rest of your day.
Community Guidelines
To protect the integrity of the space and ensure everyone feels safe and respected, we follow these core agreements:
No talking on the dance floor — this helps you stay connected to your internal world and not pulled into social performance.
No alcohol or drugs — this is a sober, embodied experience.
Respect your own body and others — move at your pace; consent is essential; there is no physical contact unless mutually agreed with clear awareness.
No judgement, no expectation — your dance can be quiet, wild, still, fluid… whatever feels true in the moment.
