Finding your flow

Overview

Finding your flow is time for you to step out of your masculine and into your feminine. The course below will take you on a journey through four steps and set you up in body and mind for welcoming in the next year through:

- step1: time to reflect on this year and letting go of anything that you do not want to take into next year.

- step 2: find your feminine flow through movement, allowing connection to your body.

- step 3: connecting into your body and noticing what your body is holding through a guided meditation.

- step 4: setting intentions for next year.

Step 1:

Reflecting on this year

Find a comfortable space where you can take time to reflect on this year. Click here to open 12 questions to guide you through a time of reflection. Try working through all questions or pick a few to focus on. Take your time to notice what memories come up from the year. Explore where your energy has gone and what has brought you joy.

Allow space to journal, draw or perhaps find someone to share your reflections with. This is your time so feel free to come back to some questions if they feel to big right now. There is no right or wrong way to read the questions, be guided by the first thought that comes to your mind and explore from there. Try to not judge yourself but notice what you feel in your body as you reflect.

When you feel ready move onto the next step where I will take you through movement to connect to your feminine flow through focusing on the hip area. This part of the body holds a lot of emotional tension and it can feel hard to let movement flow easily. Go gently and stop at any point. The aim is to notice what comes up without judgement and to feel into your body.

step 2:

finding your feminine flow

Let’s take sometime to connect into your feminine flow and see what your body is holding.

Prepare your space so you can move. You may want to use an exercise mat for comfort and you will need to be wearing clothes you can move in.

Here is a playlist (created on Spotify) that you can use alongside the below video where I will guide you through yoga style movement. For the improvisation at the end of the video, try using the song Mama Saturn by Tanerelle (found on playlist above) to explore letting your hips flow and finding freedom in your movement. Let me know how you get on.

Step 3:

Connect to your body

How did you find connecting into your hips? Did you manage to let your hips be free and improvise as your body needed? What thoughts came up for you?

Now take time to slow down and focus in. Come back to your mat or the floor and find a comfortable place to sit or lay down. The guided meditation will talk through as if you are lying down however, you can adapt everything to a seated position. Notice what thoughts come up and notice what your body feels, try not to judge.

step 4:

Intention setting

To end this course let’s spend time thinking about what you would like next year to look like.

I would like to invite you to explore what your intention is, i.e. what is your desire. If we can get clear with what our desire and intention is we can lean more into what we are truly feeling and wanting.

Grab a drink, get comfortable and take time to journal, draw or speak to someone about what comes up for you when you explore the questions. Click here to access 12 questions

When you have explored all or a few of the questions move onto the next page to select one word or phrase that you will take forward into next year. Let this intention guide you and bring you back to yourself throughout the year.
